Both NAC and V2110 were added to Netsight console using SNMP v3 and they are OK (green).

Now I try to configure wireless users authorization through the NAC.

The problem is wireless clients are not shown in NAC's End-Systems tab, but they are in Wireless tab. When they connect to SSID they get TO NAC's portal interface, then they pass authorization with they AD credentials and then NAC freezes with Endless registration. Experienced guys say: bring you clients to NAC's End-Systems tab first. How? They don't appear there.

What most likely could be the problem?

Many thanks in advance,
Ilya

problem active 32 5 1 comment http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7740782 7740782 NAC appliance is red in console, but green in XMC 2018-05-25T15:15:10Z 2018-05-25T15:15:10Z Ilya Semenov http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/7805296 https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/10661339/WP_20151001_17_47_49_Raw_medium.jpg ilya_semenov Hello, team,

after reboot NAC is red in Console, but green in XMC. I am still having issues with the frame-loss testing, but delay works very well in both directions. If you see or know why my frame-loss measurements are not working correctly, kindly let me know.

When you setup CFM on a Ciena switch, the maintenance domain is automatically named based on the md level you choose. With that in mind, you have to make sure that you name the maintenance domain the same on the Extreme Networks side. The service name in Ciena becomes the maintenance association name on Extreme. Also, on Extreme you will need to disabled IGMP snooping on the port you plan to put the maintenance end point on.

Here some snippets of the configs to show you how to create the MD, MA and MEP.
Ciena:
cfm enable
cfm set vs-automatic-meps off
cfm service create vlan 3861 name cfm3861 md md4
cfm service enable service cfm3861
cfm mep create service cfm3861 port 6 type down mepid 11

Port 6 is a trunk port with a vlan with a tag of 3861 associated to it. Your vlan id might differ, as well as your port. The above creates a CFM maintenance domain and an association and a Maintenance End Point (MEP).

Now below, the same is done on Extreme.

Extreme:
create cfm domain string "md4" md-level 4
configure cfm domain "md4" add association string "cfm3861" vlan "vlan_cfmtest_3861"
configure cfm domain "md4" association "cfm3861" ports 45 add end-point down 10

At this point, give it a few seconds and Ciena and Extreme should "see" each other. You can check on Ciena via "cfm remote-mep show" and on Extreme with "show cfm detail".
To test from the Ciena MEP to the Extreme MEP, you simply send frame-loss and frame-delay packets specifying the MEP id's used (in this example 10 for Extreme and 11 for Ciena):
cfm delay send service cfm3861 local-mepid 11 mepid 10 count 5
cfm delay show

cfm frame-loss send service cfm3861 local-mepid 11 mepid 10 count 5
cfm frame-loss show

On the Extreme switch, to measure from Extreme to Ciena, you first need to create a cfm segment and use the mac address you see in the "show cfm detail" command of the remote MEP as your destination:

create cfm segment "test" destination 9c:7a:03:b7:b2:07
configure cfm segment "test" add domain "md4" association "cfm3861"
configure cfm segment "test" add mep 10

Once this is setup, you can test from the Extreme switch with these commands:

enable cfm segment frame-delay measurement "test" mep 10 count 5
show cfm segment frame-delay
show cfm segment frame-delay statistics

en cfm segment frame-loss measurement "test" mep 10 count 5
show cfm segment frame-loss
show cfm segment frame-loss statistics

I hope this helps somebody down the road. idea 0 1 1 create http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7739817 7739817 08G20G4-48P Gigabit Ethernet Switch 2018-05-24T19:12:24Z 2018-05-23T19:03:13Z Ottas Yvanov http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/9671880 https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/11277534//platform/profilepic/_medium. ottas_yvanov Nous avons des commutateurs 8G20G4-48P qui n'alimentent plus l'équipement téléphonique et les caméras de notre société.
Lorsque je clique sur "POE Port Settings" ou "POE System Settings", je ne trouve aucune configuration. problem 3 4 1 comment http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7740356 7740356 X460G2-48x-10G4 SFP Ports behavior not expected, are in active state without a link plugged. 2018-05-24T18:55:18Z 2018-05-24T18:55:18Z Sergio Galvez http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/7617777 https://www.gravatar.com/avatar/afd165535e9c640a7d3422fa3e556d49?d=identicon&s=55&r=PG sergio_galvez Hi,

X460G2-48x-10G4
Version summitX-22.4.1.4-patch1-2

I have a physical ports issue with my new Extreme Stack topology (2 slots); the master slot (Switch 1) is showing a NON-expected behavior on SFP electrical ports, when the Switch boots up after a reboot, all the enabled ports become ACTIVE, I don't have any link plugged to those electricals SFP, that means that the switch has NOT to show the led ON, and has NOT to show the port as ACTIVE neither,

-At this point all the port LEDs with electrical SFP are GREEN ON, if you plugg a cable and connect the other side to a laptop, the port is able to came UP and forward traffic.
-If the electrical SFP is removed the port goes DOWN; if the SFP is plugged back the port remains DOWN, if you connect then a cable the port NEVER goes UP, till you reboot the stack. after the reboot the behavior is the same. the port is UP untill you manually shut down or remove the SFP physically, otherwise it keeps ACTIVE.

In the Switch Slot2 the behavior is as expected, after the Stack reboot, the enabled ports initate as READY state and do not become ACTIVE till any cable is inserted on.
