I purchased a used copy of Quicken Mac 2015, but I can't stand it.

Based on a number of older posts on this site, it looks like Quicken used to make the Lion version available to people with Quicken 2017. I contacted Quicken support to see if this was still true, but the representative said that the download was no longer available and suggested I find it elsewhere. Can anyone else confirm whether Quicken will still provide the download or not? I would buy a used copy of Quicken 2017 or sign up for Quicken subscription just to get the copy of Quicken Mac 2007 (Lion).

If Quicken won't provide the download, does anyone know of a reputable place to obtain a copy? On eBay, I found a seller claiming to sell a copy via USB:

However, this seems sketchy to me. For one, I thought Intuit only offered the software via download, yet the picture appears to show an Intuit branded USB and invoice. I'd be immediately concerned that the software includes malware, viruses, etc. Anyone have luck with this? question installing_and_updating installing_and_updating, mac complete 10 6 1 comment 7846012 quicken FORCED renewal 2019-01-25T02:25:54Z 2019-01-24T18:27:58Z patricia mccarthy patricia_mccarthy_1exap3s81x6r5 renewal banner...from what I've read if I want to continue using Quicken, I am FORCED to renew AND if I do not, then the file becomes read-only. this is unacceptable. Renewed subscription, but Quicken will not load accounts, or re-install app. 2019-01-24T17:48:14Z 2019-01-19T07:22:40Z K Scherrei k_scherrei I don’t use online accounting; I manually enter all transactions and check to see if they’ve cleared the bank. In January my subscription expired and I couldn’t look at my accounts at all. 2 days later, at a public WiFi, I renewed with a simpler plan. After an update I was able to see my budget... for the last time. Quicken had me remove the app and now it won’t reload. They had me remove all finance data (my back up is at least 6mo old) and it still will not re-install the app. I even called Apple for troubleshooting help- they diagnosed it’s a quicken problem. In the meantime, I can’t touch my account because I’m waiting for automatic withdrawals to clear and I have no idea what’s left when they do! I even tried reinstalling from disc but I keep getting told that it didn’t shut down properly the last time I was in it and it refuses to download the NEW disc. I began as a Windows user long ago and switched to Macs 10 years ago. I've been running QWin under a virtual machine. I tried Q for Mac a couple of years ago and found it woefully inadequate. I'd like to use a native Mac version and ditch the virtual machine and Windows, but don't want to waste $$ again. So, how's does the latest compare? Is it worth the switch? question investing investing, buying_refunding_replacing, mac complete 2 4 1 comment 7845880 Upgrade Mac 07 to 2019 2019-01-24T15:34:31Z 2019-01-23T19:30:02Z Blaine Childers Bolton blaine_childers_bolton Hello Eric,

I have a 2007 Mac version of Quicken. I use it solely for record keeping on my computer. I do not do online stuff with Quicken. I would guess I am way over due for an upgrade and would like to know the best way to upgrade and what to do. I have a mac desk top computer. Thank you Blaine Bolton

Note: This conversation was created from a reply on: An Update from Eric Dunn. question data_file_conversion data_file_conversion, installing_and_updating, mac complete 8 4 2 create 7845281 Quicken MAC Europe / Spain 2019-01-23T21:49:31Z 2019-01-23T11:57:52Z andrea andrea_4mvafsrab5q3a I am interested in Quicken for MAC for Europe (Spain).
