We have had some initial conversations with HICAPS and Medipass. At this stage, we are waiting for an upgrade to the HICAPS Connect software as a next step in evaluating the interface. 1 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7571231/replies/19061974 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7571231 19061974 In Stride Health Clinic responded to "HICAPS Go or Medipass Integration?" 2017-10-31T04:05:22Z 2017-10-31T04:05:22Z In Stride Health Clinic http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/8224187 https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/10819499/logo_medium.png in_stride_health_clinic This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled HICAPS Go / Hicaps Integration through Frontdesk?.

Does anyone have the HICAPS connected to FrontDesk and the new HICAPS GO system?

Do they integrate well?

We are yet to connect to either one or both.

Sharon 0 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7571231/replies/19061978 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7571231/replies/19061974 19061978 Timothy responded to "HICAPS Go or Medipass Integration?" 2017-10-31T04:11:24Z 2017-10-31T04:11:24Z Timothy http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/7410868 https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/10481383/FullSizeRender2_medium.jpg tim_7104970 Hi Sharon. We are currently waiting for HICAPS Go support in the HICAPS Connect software, which connects Front Desk to your HICAPS terminal. We believe HICAPS is still a few months away from releasing this. 0 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7571231/replies/19458538 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7571231 19458538 Smpc Reception responded to "HICAPS Go or Medipass Integration?" 2018-04-12T23:51:00Z 2018-04-12T23:51:00Z Smpc Reception http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/9624830 https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/11260806/photo_medium.jpg smpc_reception Hi,

Hicaps Go transactions are separate to the Hicaps terminal transactions. We are manually entering the Hicaps Go transactions into Front Desk as 'Hicaps' for the payment method. The terminal reconciliation then doesn't balance as the Hicaps Go transactions are not included. This is fine as we can just add the totals from Medipass. It only becomes an issue if it doesn't balance and then we have to do forensics in two places! It would be helpful to have another payment method under 'Hicaps Go' for manual entering of these payments.

Hilary 0 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7571231/replies/19458555 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7571231/replies/19458538 19458555 Timothy responded to "HICAPS Go or Medipass Integration?" 2018-04-13T00:02:09Z 2018-04-13T00:02:09Z Timothy http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/7410868 https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/10481383/FullSizeRender2_medium.jpg tim_7104970 Hi Hilary. As above, at this stage we are still waiting for a new version of the HICAPS Connect software to support HICAPS Go. At that stage, our understanding is that you will not need to leave Front Desk to process claims using HICAPS Go and they will all be included within your HICAPS totals.

For now, perhaps you can use one of the other payment dissection types, such as Credit Card, which is no longer commonly used due to EFTPOS, as a temporary measure.

As a general question to the Community, who is using HICAPS Go and how is it working for you? 1 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7571231/replies/19458737 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7571231/replies/19458538 19458737 Kristina responded to "HICAPS Go or Medipass Integration?" 2018-04-13T01:55:29Z 2018-04-13T01:55:29Z Kristina http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/7428674 https://www.gravatar.com/avatar/807913e1d1815bf0af47fc368435aaeb?d=identicon&s=55&r=PG kristina_parnham We have HICAPS Go. Not many people are using it at the moment, but it would be great to have Smartsoft integration before it takes off and is used more widely. It is clunky moving between both systems and manually entering the information from HICAPS Go to Smartsoft and then conducting reconciliations. Should be good once both systems are intergrated though! 0 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7571231/replies/19792450 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7571231 19792450 Amber Quirk responded to "HICAPS Go or Medipass Integration?" 2018-10-07T21:52:22Z 2018-10-07T21:52:22Z Amber Quirk http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/7618831 https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/10576114/photo_medium.jpg amber_quirk This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Hicaps GO.

Wondering if Smartsoft has any future plans to intergrate with Hicaps GO?
0 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7571231/replies/19792522 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7571231 19792522 Timothy responded to "HICAPS Go or Medipass Integration?" 2018-10-07T23:10:34Z 2018-10-07T23:10:34Z Timothy http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/7410868 https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/10481383/FullSizeRender2_medium.jpg tim_7104970 Hi Amber. As we are a certified HICAPS integration partner, Front Desk integration with HICAPS Go will come through a future update to the HICAPS Connect software, supplied by HICAPS. At this stage, we are still waiting for HICAPS to release this update, which appears to have been delayed. As per the HICAPS website (https://www.hicaps.com.au/forms/faqs):

“HICAPS Connect integration (for non-cloud based PMS) is also under way and will be up and running in the next few months, allowing claims and payments to be processed through the integrated PMS software.”

Our concern with the HICAPS Go claiming process is that the patient needs to download and install an application on their phone, and then correctly authorise the claim. We believe that the current HICAPS integration claiming method, where the process is controlled by practice staff, is the best option for all users with a HICAPS terminal. 0
