I believe it's an issue with the stylus. I removed the headshell covering, but there doesn't seem to be a needle or point underneath, only two small rubber tabs, shaped as if to stabilize a needlepoint that's not there. Everything else seems to be in place correctly. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or if perhaps there's a missing part.

I was really excited to finally invest in a real record player, after years of collecting LPs and playing them on a half-broken player that I salvaged. It's a bit disappointing to run into this issue, but I thank you in advance for any helpful input. I attached a picture, sorry it was the best I could do at this angle.

problem active 1 2 1 comment http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7762833/replies/19635031 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7762833 19635031 Bill R. responded to "New Max LP Headshell/Stylus Problem" 2018-07-12T14:30:27Z 2018-07-12T14:30:27Z Bill R. http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/8209310 https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/10993990/download_medium.jpg bill_r_7894130 Hi Abigail,

Thanks for posting.
