Are you able to provide some further details regarding your idea?

As you may know, refunds are currently displayed on the Transaction reports or the Banking Sheet/Shift report summary to highlight that a refund has been processed on the day. Refunds do not decrease the amounts on these reports as we feel it is not best practice to pay out refunds from your daily takings. Options for refunds include a cash refund from dedicated refund float, credit card refund, direct bank debit or cheque. Whichever options you make available in your practice, you will need to track and record the refunds in your accounting system accordingly.

0 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7778093/replies/19697013 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7778093 19697013 Adam Woolacott responded to "Integtrating refunds into POS on front Desk" 2018-08-15T07:59:41Z 2018-08-15T07:59:41Z Adam Woolacott http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/7427224 https://www.gravatar.com/avatar/9a8a77a539d7b7474a4e61a201baac98?d=identicon&s=55&r=PG adam_woolacott Hi Tim, on a related topic. Im not sure why the refund doesnt come off the daily takings on the banking summary.

With it listed on the banking summary as a separate item we need to print the summary, then hand write on it and explain what methods were used to do the refund and then scan it back in to email it to the bookkeeper for entering rather than simply emailing the report direct from frontdesk. As it stands the amount banked for cash or eft for the day doesnt line up with the report without the extra steps being followed.

I also dont understand how the future integration with xero will work without the frontdesk program being able to assign a method to the refund. 1 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7778093/replies/19698862 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7778093/replies/19697013 19698862 Timothy responded to "Integtrating refunds into POS on front Desk" 2018-08-16T00:11:29Z 2018-08-16T00:11:29Z Timothy http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/7410868 https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/10481383/FullSizeRender2_medium.jpg tim_7104970 Hi Adam. We've considered this matter and agree that we should record and display how the refund is made. Look out for this change in an upgrade in the near future. 3
