Do the videos crash later? Do the files go corrupt? Do you use camtasia assets if you have licensed version for those videos? question 6 5 1 comment http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7793307/replies/19759624 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7793307 19759624 Jerry Beaucaire responded to "Do you make training videos for your organization?" 2018-09-16T17:33:51Z 2018-09-16T17:33:51Z Jerry Beaucaire http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/5262865 https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/9816661/AIbEiAIAAABDCO20-oiO4qXOfiILdmNhcmRfcGhvdG8qKGY5MzQwMDk1Yzk1Y2FmMzliODM3MWIwZWJjZjA5NWZjN2JjZDM4YWQwAeJFj8dA3Gl2FD8psAHc9HfKRtXH_medium. jerry_beaucaire Once a video is published, it is in a video format, such as MP4, so it either works or doesn't, forever, in that format.

As for the Camtasia files/assets that went into making the video, those can certainly get corrupted over time for any number of reasons, so be sure to keep good backup copies of your project files when you complete them. 1 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7793307/replies/19759633 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7793307 19759633 Bob Lewis responded to "Do you make training videos for your organization?" 2018-09-16T17:38:15Z 2018-09-16T17:38:15Z Bob Lewis http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/8309696 https://www.gravatar.com/avatar/b19ce3443024f1f852bb6e123b8a3321?d=identicon&s=55&r=PG rlinternational2 Yes. No. No. Yes.
I have used Camtasia for many years for organizations and personal use.
I have not had any issues with Rendered videos (MP4) while using Licensed assets included with Camtasia.

I do recommend if you are ever planing on editing your project in the future that you Export your Project as a Zipped file making sure you check the " Include all files from Media Bin in zip" check box.
That way if any files or assets used in the project are ever moved or deleted from the location they were on your computer when last used they will be included in the Zipped Project file that can later be Imported with all assets intact. ( Under File, Export as Zip or Import Zipped file )( Make sure you know where it is saving )

1 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7793307/replies/19759659 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7793307/replies/19759633 19759659 SB responded to "Do you make training videos for your organization?" 2018-09-16T18:12:03Z 2018-09-16T18:12:03Z SB http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/9774252 https://www.gravatar.com/avatar/48b539552ecaee0e202fe41e36bc7ddc?d=identicon&s=55&r=PG snehalbhosale88 Hi Bob, thank you for your reply. I just have to deploy videos in mp4 format to another location which is not connected to my office. I choose custom settings while rendering the file and it create html and mp4 version. So while giving videos, should I give only mp4 file or the entire folder which has html version as well? And should I be giving the zipped file of the project as well ? 0 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7793307/replies/19759691 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7793307/replies/19759633 19759691 Dubie responded to "Do you make training videos for your organization?" 2018-09-16T18:44:17Z 2018-09-16T18:44:17Z Dubie http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/444366 https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/11086056/Dubie4_medium.png dubie If all you need is just the mp4 and the video does not have any interactive content in it ie; Hotspots, quizzes, etc than when you do your custom production Un-check the "Produce With Controller" option in the wizard.
