In the process it split two of my accounts into two accounts. Is there a way to merge them or transfer the transactions from the secondary account to the original one and then delete the unneeded account? How do I make sure this doesn't happen again when I update transactions from bank next time? question mac mac active 1 4 1 comment http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7793370/replies/19759747 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7793370 19759747 jacobs responded to "Upgrading from Quicken for Mac 2015 to 2018 caused two accounts to get split. If it's a banking account -- not an Investment -- you can simply open the account you want to get rid of, select all transactions, and drag to the account in the left sidebar you want to retain; all the transactions will move to the destination account. Once you're sure you have no transactions left in the old account, you can delete it. (Control click on it in the left sidebar, and delete.)

I'm not aware of people reporting this problem, so I can't offer any advice on why it might have occurred. 2
