Production releases occur 3-4 times a year when we consider an upgrade to be sufficiently tested in the real world. We take great care in testing our software releases, however, Front Desk is used in a wide variety of IT environments and by a large number of users, all with individual configurations. If you don’t mind installing regular updates on your system, there’s probably no reason not to install the pre-release versions. For those that want to minimise the number of times they need to upgrade, we recommend installing the production versions when they become available.
0 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7796453/replies/19772917 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7796453 19772917 Andrea Lutt responded to "Introducing Front Desk integration with Physitrack" 2018-09-25T04:56:49Z 2018-09-25T04:56:49Z Andrea Lutt http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/8762433 https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/11283075/gcp_col_300_medium.jpg andrea_lutt Hi Tim, can you please confirm if a practitioner has multiple locations, and therefore multiple instances of Practitioner in Front Desk, do they require a Physitrack licence each? The user guide states that it is per Practitioner so I'm assuming I'm correct. All of our physios practice in multiple locations so for 6 active physiotherapists (users), we have 14 Practitioners because of multiple locations. 0 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7796453/replies/19772929 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7796453/replies/19772845 19772929 Joyaa Antares responded to "Introducing Front Desk integration with Physitrack" 2018-09-25T05:12:38Z 2018-09-25T05:12:38Z Joyaa Antares http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/5979473 https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/10481663/JoyaaNov2012Sydney_medium.jpg joyaa_antares Thanks Timothy. Once the integration is set up, any new patients that you add through the Front Desk integration will be created in Physitrack. Any patients that you have already added manually to Physitrack are unknown to Front Desk and at this stage the Physitrack API does not support linking them to an existing patient in a practice management system.

We don't recommend deleting patients in Physitrack that are linked to a patient file in Front Desk, as the link will be lost. If you can open a support case we can provide assistance on this occasion. In a future upgrade, we will introduce better handling if this scenario occurs. 0 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7796453/replies/19772950 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7796453/replies/19772917 19772950 Timothy responded to "Introducing Front Desk integration with Physitrack" 2018-09-25T05:34:52Z 2018-09-25T05:34:52Z Timothy http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/7410868 https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/10481383/FullSizeRender2_medium.jpg tim_7104970 Hi Andrea. For clinical notes purposes, practitioners generally login with one user account, which is linked to a single practitioner file at one location. This is the practitioner file that is generally used to record clinical notes and the one that will be used for Physitrack purposes.

In the case that you do want to login as a different user at different locations, we are happy to setup the same Physitrack API key for the same practitioner working at different locations, however we don't think this is necessary in your case. 1 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7796453/replies/19772962 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7796453/replies/19772917 19772962 Andrea Lutt responded to "Introducing Front Desk integration with Physitrack" 2018-09-25T05:46:41Z 2018-09-25T05:46:41Z Andrea Lutt http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/8762433 https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/11283075/gcp_col_300_medium.jpg andrea_lutt That's just filled in a gap in my knowledge of Front Desk. Thanks. 0
