Currently has a 50 character limit. The director of our practice current quals are: MHSc (Pod), Grad Cert Diabetes Ed. Cert IV TAE, Dip Chiropody, Credentialed Wound Clinician - High Risk foot speciality.
As you can see this exceeds the character limit allowed for the qualification section. It is a shame to have to cull hard earned qualifications for something as silly as a character limit. idea 4 2 1 comment http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7797867/replies/19778309 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7797867 19778309 Timothy responded to "Additional characters for practitioner qualifications" 2018-09-28T01:13:44Z 2018-09-28T01:13:44Z Timothy http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/7410868 https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/10481383/FullSizeRender2_medium.jpg tim_7104970 Hi Emma. The reason why there's a character limit for practitioner qualifications is because this information needs to be printed in several different areas in Front Desk, including receipts and invoices of many different paper sizes. We're happy to review whether we can add some extra characters to the qualifications field with the space we have available. In the interim, you might try and find a way to abbreviate some of the practitioner's qualifications.
0 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7797867/replies/19778322 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7797867 19778322 Emma Coombes responded to "Additional characters for practitioner qualifications" 2018-09-28T01:30:01Z 2018-09-28T01:30:01Z Emma Coombes http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/9802980 https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/11328708/photo_medium.jpg emma_coombes Even with abbreviations it will not all fit. Seems a bit of a shame to exclude quals for the sake of paper sizes. Perhaps an option for additional qualifications which can be added to letters? Ie still keep qualification section but have additional qualifications that can be pre-filled into letter templates for the sake of communication with other health practitioners. This then would omit the problem on invoices etc? Food for thought.
0 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7797867/replies/19778357 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7797867/replies/19778322 19778357 Timothy responded to "Additional characters for practitioner qualifications" 2018-09-28T02:20:10Z 2018-09-28T02:20:10Z Timothy http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/7410868 https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/10481383/FullSizeRender2_medium.jpg tim_7104970 In this case, another solution is to create a specific letter template for this practitioner and type their full qualifications directly onto the template, rather than using the qualifications letter tag.

0 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7797867/replies/19778359 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7797867/replies/19778322 19778359 Emma Coombes responded to "Additional characters for practitioner qualifications" 2018-09-28T02:23:11Z 2018-09-28T02:23:11Z Emma Coombes http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/9802980 https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/11328708/photo_medium.jpg emma_coombes Frustrating when you have more than one practitioner ad having to have templates for each. 0
