Why not just separate the list into PEOPLE and "outside texts, messages ete or name it something else but leave our list of people alone idea 3 4 1 comment http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7802005/replies/19793866 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7802005 19793866 Shelly Roth responded to "Ring all-in-one app" 2018-10-08T18:19:26Z 2018-10-08T18:19:26Z Shelly Roth http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/9053275 https://www.gravatar.com/avatar/ba6959b20b5c8959a049aa538138f648?d=identicon&s=55&r=PG shelly_roth this is one reason we are not moving into 1 app yet. Keeping it separate works well for us and there are too many options not available yet with the combined app. 0 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7802005/replies/19850481 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7802005 19850481 Aloia McKinnon responded to "Ring all-in-one app" 2018-11-09T20:40:04Z 2018-11-09T20:40:04Z Aloia McKinnon http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/9847623 https://www.gravatar.com/avatar/5d782518f43ff91f06bd4832342bccf0?d=identicon&s=55&r=PG zhao_fvz0gb0mxnjg
@Shelly Roth, and having two separate apps do the same thing is redundant. We need an option to disable sms from showing up on the left hand pane of RingCentral (GLIP). This "new" feature is redundant and personally an eyesore. We use RingCentral (Phone) for that purpose. Additionally, why did you guys name two products with nearly the same name? It used to be called GLIP, but now it's called RingCentral APP. RingCentral is now called RingCentral Phone. This even creates confusion when speaking to customer service. Why create an update with nonsensical redundancy and the renaming of two separate products? This doesn't create a better brand nor product recognition, but rather confusion! WHY!? 0 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7802005/replies/19850491 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7802005/replies/19850481 19850491 Saadet - Community Support responded to "Ring all-in-one app" 2018-11-09T20:46:01Z 2018-11-09T20:46:01Z Saadet - Community Support http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/8940459 https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/11077132/Picture_medium.png saadet_swift Hi Aloia, Shelly is not a RingCentral employee and, therefore, cannot answer your questions.

You can learn more about the app change on this thread

We are working on creating a unified application, which is why SMS has been added to the RC (Glip) app. 0
