my Windows 10 computer. I frequently enter transactions through both the desktop app and the mobile app on my Iphone. I connect to my bank using express connect. Since I have upgraded I have had nothing but problems with downloading transactions. I have had them download and be marked as new instead of matching, as well as a few times I have actually had Reconciled transactions redownload and be marked as new. I literally had one download after Reconciling 3 different times. I am almost ready to roll back and go back to 2017. I'm not sure where to start. I have fixed my connections as well as disconnected and reconnected, but I cringe whenever I have to do a sync update and then download from my bank. I've been using Quicken for about a decade and I have all my budgets rolled in there as well as bill reminders. problem errors_troubleshooting_olb errors_troubleshooting_olb, bank_accounts_downloading_and_categorizing, windows, mobile_and_cloud_sync active 10 8 1 comment http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7826907/replies/19893638 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7826907 19893638 Anton Fensel responded to "Downloaded transactions not playing well with entered transactions in the register" 2018-12-07T16:34:58Z 2018-12-07T16:34:58Z Anton Fensel http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/8749946 https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/10941205/photo_medium.jpg anton_fensel Mobile app doesn't work. 0 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7826907/replies/19893687 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7826907 19893687 Chris Lauterbach responded to "Downloaded transactions not playing well with entered transactions in the register" 2018-12-07T17:08:14Z 2018-12-07T17:08:14Z Chris Lauterbach http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/8789483 https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/10959413/12509365_10208592211509842_4171388062905422131_n_medium.jpg chris_lauterbach That doesn't really help me here.

Make this cash account the ONLY account that is synced to the Quicken Cloud Account (QMobile/Q-Web).

When using QMobile, enter your transactions into the cash account. After those transactions are synced back to the desktop, you can move them to whichever account they belong. By doing it this way, the financial institution (FI) downloading to the Quicken Cloud Account (QCA) and then trying to match up with the d/l'd transactions that you do on the desktop is eliminated.

It is either that or put up with the mess that Quicken has created with having the QCA interfacing with the FI. I truly believe if they eliminated the FI->QCA connection, all of the issues would go away. 0 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7826907/replies/19893828 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7826907 19893828 Chris Lauterbach responded to "Downloaded transactions not playing well with entered transactions in the register" 2018-12-07T18:09:56Z 2018-12-07T18:09:56Z Chris Lauterbach http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/8789483 https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/10959413/12509365_10208592211509842_4171388062905422131_n_medium.jpg chris_lauterbach Well, they sure haven't fixed it. Bank entered transfers from an account NOT under Quicken now show as "Check" instead of TXFR. OXFR between two accounts under Quicken also show as Check instead of "TXFR".
