I want to see what my prospect is seeing on the other end of my webinar idea 6 4 1 comment http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7827095/replies/19901149 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7827095 19901149 Always Closing responded to "Audience View | Webinar" 2018-12-12T16:06:18Z 2018-12-12T16:06:18Z Always Closing http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/9882235 https://www.gravatar.com/avatar/ed3bf0a1797303ce276c518e15dcc03e?d=identicon&s=55&r=PG always_closing This feels like a complaint. A good sales rep can sell without this functionality.
0 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7827095/replies/19901161 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7827095/replies/19901149 19901161 Jan Ferguson, Channel Partner responded to "Audience View | Webinar" 2018-12-12T16:12:46Z 2018-12-12T16:12:46Z Jan Ferguson, Channel Partner http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/6207369 https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/11332249/Jan6_medium.jpg jan_ferguson_5903260 I certainly would not consider this a "complaint". I would offer though that this "feature" would be an individual one which would most likely be one requested by very few in any other users. I would assume that if a person is running the webinar, what other people are seeing on the webinar is what the person holding the webinar sees on his own computer screen. A webinar is held to inform others about a topic. I can truthfully say that if a prospect isn't seeing what you are offering on YOUR screen then something is terribly wrong with your or his setup. I can't imagine an instance where the prospect would not be seeing what is on the originator's screen. 1 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7827095/replies/19901280 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7827095 19901280 Peter Holzberger responded to "Audience View | Webinar" 2018-12-12T17:06:08Z 2018-12-12T17:06:08Z Peter Holzberger http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/9877820 https://www.gravatar.com/avatar/c5c4de26cbc21047f0876e5c9c5a36eb?d=identicon&s=55&r=PG peter_holzberger
Thanks for the comment “Always Closing”, dynamite insight.

I don’t have complete trust in screen sharing technology because like all technology, sometimes it glitches. GoToMeeting had an audience view functionality which provided reassurance the system hadn’t “glitched”, which wasn’t unheard of for them, and I wasn’t accidentally sharing my other screen with all of my notes.

I also didn’t think that my conversation with a RingCentral support rep would be turned into a community post using my full name. But hey, everything on the internet is in pen, so this one’s probably on me.
0 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7827095/replies/19901844 http://m.getsatisfaction.com/topics/7827095 19901844 Jan Ferguson, Channel Partner responded to "Audience View | Webinar" 2018-12-12T21:18:12Z 2018-12-12T21:18:12Z Jan Ferguson, Channel Partner http://m.getsatisfaction.com/people/6207369 https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/public/uploaded_images/11332249/Jan6_medium.jpg jan_ferguson_5903260 What you can also do is to sign in to your meeting as an "audience member" on a separate device, such as a tablet, smartphone, laptop, etc. You will see whatever it is that other "audience members" are seeing. A simple solution.

0
